I got 2 bottles of wine from Thailand exhibition in Thai embassy few days ago. Rose sparkling wine (5% of alcohol) and red sparkling wine (6% of alcohol), it came with small bottle. The seller guy couldn't explain to me what grape used to make those 2 wine so I don't know the variety of the grapes. I'm just feeling curious of what can Thailand wine offer?
The answer:
The rose wine is ok and light, the taste is quite sweet but the quality is not up to French level yet also the smell of the wine is not as strong as other wine. While for the red wine, the taste is a bit sweet and just so so, not very impressive, drinking it is not different like drink a coke. So I'm thinking that I wasted my money for this wine, they should sell it for S$2/ bottle instead of S$4. The rose wine is still acceptable but the red wine is not very good. Too bad I didn't take any pic for the rose wine because I finished it 1st. This pic is only the red wine and they also gave me a key chain and a free bottle opener (not bad for $8).
